The  8th Annual Cherokee Hover-In will be held July 11, 12, and 13, 2008, at Greenlee Fall Creek Campground. Come enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cherokee Lake as it winds down through the mountains of North east Tennessee.  The lake level was down last year, about the same as 2001, and made for some great hovering. The event is very casual and all are welcome to attend. Come meet up and cruise with old friends, meet new friends, and for those not accustomed to the sport, come and learn about hovercraft and get some rides that will for sure, give you the hoverbug.
 
Saturday evening, we will do a community cookout. Sit under the shelter and share the great conversation and food. We ask for a small donation to help with the expense for the cookout or by all means, bring your favorite dish to share.  We look forward to another great year of hovering and meeting up with everyone again. We will have shirts, hats, and decals for those that wish to purchase souvenirs.  Sizes will be limited so if you'd like a shirt or hat, reserved, please see my apparel section under products.

As a reminder for those bringing craft, please make sure all rotating parts are guarded. Also remember to carry the standard equipment, PFD's, Fire Extinguisher, Rope, paddle, etc., and make sure your craft is registered and it's registration is up to date
